Hi, I just wanted to say that I've been a huge fan of your blog when you were actually writing it, and it's very sad that it turned into series of wordless pictures by this point.

You brought in a fresh, nonchlant approach to film criticism, and I'm sad it's gone now.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm sorry it's changed into something you like less, but I still write the occasional post. My life has gotten much busier in the last few years, for all kinds of reasons, so I have a lot less time to write on my blogs. I'm also spending more of my writing time on personal, non-blog projects. My workload will be lighter in the summers, so expect more writing here then. Also, I sometimes grow weary of my own voice, and I burned myself out of my writing style on this blog. I thought images could say more about the art of film and the composition of the frame than my endless complaining, and it's been a way of keeping this blog going until I'm ready to write about movies again. If you're a horror film fan, I have a link to my horror movie blog, Decapitated Zombie Vampire Bloodbath, at the bottom of the page. I write something there 2-3 times a month. It's a lot more casual and less high-falutin' than this page, but I do a lot more writing there, at the moment. But, thanks for reading, even if you are disappointed in the current direction. I didn't think anybody read it except my wife and a couple friends.
