a question about the bathroom break series: do you strategically plan your peeing? like drink a lot of water or beer a while before you know a good shot is coming up? because these are fantastic!
i am inspired to write little plays or short stories based on these images. i'll get right on that. i'll call the project "one man's bladder is another girl's literary goldmine" or "urinary wellspring" or something embarrassingly bad like that.
I try not to strategically plan the bathroom breaks. Sometimes I will wait a couple of seconds after I've decided to get up and go to the bathroom or grab a beer or answer the phone if the image right at that moment is kind of bland, but mostly I've just been getting lucky. In most good movies, it seems like every frame is interesting. I wish I would have gotten a shot of the people in the Ozu movie instead of the intertitle, but I do like how these are turning out. Except I wish they were a little clearer. Is there some setting on digital cameras for taking a picture of a TV screen?
